Scheduled IAEA inspection was held at the stock of nuclear materials of JSC IUEC in Angarsk

 The scheduled inspection of IAEA was held at the warehouse of nuclear materials of JSC IUEC in Angarsk on October 30-31, 2019.

During the inspection the experts of IAEA checked the structure of JSC IUEC warehouse for compliance with parameters, verified the accounting and reporting documentation of JSC IUEC, replaced partially the seals of the Agency installed on the tanks with nuclear materials, checked the measurements of nuclear material (weighing of the tanks and measurement of the uranium enrichment using methods of non-destructive analysis), analysed the records of video-monitoring system installed at the warehouse of JSC IUEC.

At the final briefing the inspectors of IAEA reported that all activities of the inspection plan were performed to the full extent and expressed their thankfulness to the Russian party for perfect coherence of actions and professionalism of employees of JSC IUEC and JSC AECP during the activities performed in the warehouse.
