On November 17, 2017 JSC «IUEC» completed the procedure for importing the uranium oxide concentrate shipped from the Ukraine within the framework of the agreement on the supply of products made with the Ukrainian shareholder of the IUEC - State Concern «Nuclear Fuel». The purpose of the transaction with the Ukrainian partner was to ensure the guaranteed supply of products of JSC «IUEC» for the needs of the Ukrainian NPPs. The cargo received underwent the necessary customs clearance procedures and was transferred to further technological redistribution to enterprises of JSC «TVEL», which will process this concentrate, enrich it and produce fuel assemblies for the Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
On January 31, 2009, the Government of the Russian Federation issued the Resolution on signature of the Agreement on participation of the interested organization from the Ukraine in the activities of JSC «IUEC». On November 16, 2009 the Ukraine entered into an Intergovernmental agreement on the participation of its authorized organization (State Concern «Nuclear Fuel») in the activities of JSC «IUEC». On October 5, 2010, the Concern acquired 10% of shares of JSC «IUEC». In 2012 JSC «IUEC» for the first time carried out a supply chain aimed at meeting the needs of the Ukrainian NPPs. Since that moment such deliveries has been made annually.
