Appointment of Gleb Efremov as JSC IUEC Director General
On November 14, 2016 Gleb Efremov was appointed as the IUEC Director General.
Gleb Efremov was born on November 11, 1972 in Moscow.
Gleb Efremov is Bauman Moscow State Technical University graduate and has diplomas certifying his qualification in Mechanical Engineering (1996) and Software Development (2002)
He started his professional activity in 2002 in JSC Tekhsnabeksport, and within the period from 2002 to 2009 he was engaged in high-priority tasks including investments issues, gas centrifuges manufacturing, spent nuclear fuel and international projects.
Gleb Efremov, being a member of JSC Tekhsnabeksport staff, was engaged in questions concerning the JSC IUEC activity: carried out the negotiations with IAEA on Fuel Bank creation on the Russian Federation territory, supervised the preparing of contract documentation for compliance with technical and commercial aspects of Bank Fuel Basic Agreement between Russian Federation Government and IAEA , carried out a set of logistical and technical measures to put JSC IUEC under IAEA guarantees , such as building-up of objects subject to being put under guarantees at the premises of JSC AECC.
Since December 31, 2009 Gleb Efremov has hold a post of the IUEC Commercial Director and his track record includes supervising of company commercial activity , negotiations with IAEA on JSC IUEC nuclear materials setting under IAEA guarantees , providing of enterprise engineering support, assets protection , radiation, nuclear, industrial and fire safety questions, environment, safety and health measures , quality management and standardization issues.
